Calling Contest

The event, sponsored by your local Touchstone Energy® Cooperatives, is sanctioned by the Alabama State Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation and hosted by the Southeast Alabama Chapter. The contest is open to any current NWTF member wishing to compete. NWTF membership card must be presented at caller sign-in. Memberships will be available for anyone who is not a current member but wishes to compete ($30.00 Adults; $5.00 age 17 and under.) The Alabama State Championship Division is limited to Alabama residents only.

This year's contest will feature six divisions: Open, Team Calling, Intermediate, Owling, Junior, and Alabama State Championship. Caller sign-in begins at 8:00 AM with the contest starting at 9:00 AM.

Contestants must register and pay fees in advance. Payment should be mailed with registration form.

General admission is just $5 per adult, $3 per youth (age 12 and under are free.) In conjunction with the Turkey Calling Contest, there will be an Outdoors Expo with vendors and youth activities. The Expo will be held in the Ozark Civic Center adjacent to the Flowers Center for the Performing Arts.

The registration form* includes a detail of each division for places to be awarded, award amounts and entry fee.

The Alabama State Championship Division is open to Alabama residents only, but the remaining five divisions are open to anyone.

1st Annual Wild Turkey Outdoor Expo

The Southeast Alabama Chapter, NWTF will host the 1st Annual Wild Turkey & Outdoor Expo at the Ozark Civic Center, Ozark, Alabama during February 25-26, 2005. With the spring turkey-hunting season only a few weeks after the Expo, this will be a great time for you to display your products for attendees from the Alabama-Georgia-Florida area. The documents listed below provide additional information concerning the display area in the Ozark Civic Center and contract provisions for booth rentals.
