I am very privileged to serve as your Alabama State Chapter President, and I take this honor very seriously. I have been in office for one year, and have another year of my term left, and then will be up for re-election if the board so chooses. During this first year, we have undergone changes in the national office, but having met Mr. George Thornton, and had the opportunity to discuss our issues with him, I feel very strongly that the NWTF will see continued growth.
I also want you to know that your state board knows that our strength is in you, our volunteers. Without your efforts in the local banquets, and JAKES, WITO, and Wheeling events, we could never meet our goals in conservation. Therefore, I want to thank each and everyone of you for the jobs that you do, and for what you do to support the NWTF. I have met a good many of you, and would like to meet all of you, but time will not permit. Just know that we, the Alabama State Board of Directors know that you are what makes it happen.

State Awards BAnquet

Bass Pro Shop in Prattville, Al.
This should prove to be a great State Awards Banquet. We have made a great effort to get Michael Waddell and Rhett Atkins there to entertain you. Our plans are to have a silent auction, and dinner. No live auction, just basically a time to meet and celebrate the year that we have had and a way for us to say thank you to you. Invitations will be sent out on this and space is limited.
